Celery leaves and flowers were found in Garlands found in - the Pharaoh's - King Tut's tomb, who died in 1323 BCE. Now this has gone from the land of the dead to the land of the living. In about AD 30 Aulus Cornelius Celus described Celery seeds for use in pills as a pain relieving agent. Celery is a veritable treasure trove of organic goodness, it contains:
